Silent Night

Silent Night

Painting this night scene inspired me to write .....

                                                     As the light of the day

                                                     takes refuge,

                                                     the somber hues

                                                     of the night so silent

                                                     appear.

                                                     The moon shines bright,

                                                     shadows emerge

                                                     in the deep dark forest.

                                                     A certain whiteness

                                                     unfurls

                                                     through the trees

                                                     and branches.

                                                    The still waters

                                                    of the oceans and seas

                                                    start to communicate 

                                                    with the rising tide.
